Your profile and security settings
What every staff member controls about their own account.
What is it?
Each user manages their own name, contact details, timezone, signature, password, two-factor enrolment and notification preferences from the Account screen.
Why does it exist?
Details that only the individual knows should be maintained by the individual. Security settings belong there too, so enrolling in two-factor does not require an administrator.
How does it work?
1
Set your timezone — it affects how timestamps display to you and nobody else.
2
Set a signature that identifies you by first name and team, not by a paragraph of legal text.
3
Change your password from Account; the reset link expires quickly and is single-use.
4
Enrol in two-factor authentication and store the recovery codes somewhere other than the phone running the authenticator.
5
Review your notification preferences after your first busy week, not before.

WHAT MANAGEMENT ACHIEVES
Accurate staff data and better security adoption, with no administrator in the loop.
In practice
An agent changes phone and re-enrols two-factor themselves using their stored recovery codes, without raising an internal ticket.
